CONFLICT OF INTEREST POLICY SUMMARY
Each Director has a duty and a continuing obligation to disclose any actual or potential conflict of interest as soon as it is known, or reasonably should be known. Each director annually attests to lack of conflicts of interests and full disclosure of situations where the interests or concerns of a Director may be competing with, or may be seen as competing with, the interests or concerns of the CMMC-AB, which may include
- Financial Interests where a Director may directly or indirectly may benefit or profit as a result of a decision made or transaction entered into by the CMMC-AB.
- Other Organizations where a Director or related party has external relationships with other organizations, whose interests may be in potential conflict with the CMMC-AB’s overall goals, objectives, or standards.
- Other Interests where a Director or related party obtains or seeks to obtain a non-financial benefit or make use of their position in a questionable manner for business advantage or gain.
The failure to disclose an actual or potential conflict of interest or benefiting from any interest in conflict with the CMMC Accreditation Body shall be met with disciplinary and corrective action, including but not limited to Board removal, ban from participation in any CMMC-AB participation and any legal remedies.
